In support of World Sight Day that took place on October 11th, our London and Swindon offices helped raise awareness.
To make things more interesting, we set up a Selfie Station the day before with lots of fun props like eyewear and fun accessories. Staff could go and snap a picture throughout the day, then were required to upload their pictures.
The winners of the World Sight Day Selfie Challenge were Oliver and Hanna. They were featured across the social platforms for our brands: Glasses Direct, Sunglasses Shop and Eyewear Brands.
This year’s message
This year we joined Essilor and supported their message that focused on driving and raising awareness for eye tests. Poor vision accounts for some of the 3000 casualties a year and it’s been estimated that almost 1.5 million drivers have not had an eye test.
