Web Optimisation Manager – E-commerce

MyOptique Group [we operate online retail brands Glasses Direct & Sunglasses Shop] are looking for a data-driven, customer focused Web Optimisation Manager to drive the development of our web platform.

As Web Optimisation Manager you will take responsibility for defining, prioritising and delivering optimisation strategy and activity. Using a range of data and insight sources, you will identify Optimisation opportunities, scope and specify solutions and project manage delivery. This role sits within the Marketing Team, but you will be working with a range of stakeholders from different areas of the business – so a collaborative mindset and appreciation of the commercial landscape are key to succeeding in this role.

What you will be doing:

  • Developing the MyOptique Web Optimisation strategy, in alignment with business strategy, to increase conversion rates & customer spend
  • Leading user research and implementing appropriate testing, tools, processes and governance to capture user feedback/data
  • Using and presenting data insights (customer panels, user testing, competitor analysis and A/B test results) to identify and scope Optimisation stories/activities
  • Defining & owning the Optimisation roadmap
  • Representing Optimisation initiatives in the technical project prioritisation process
  • Working collaboratively across teams to deliver site changes and Optimisation projects
  • Providing high quality monthly management reports including client insights, marketing effectiveness and content Optimisation
  • Researching and analysing competitor web strategies and industry best practice to ensure we retain a word-class website

You must have experience of:

  • Working in an online retail industry, ideally in a similar User Experience role
  • A/B and multivariate testing processes
  • Leading user testing, both in person and using remote testing tools
  • Working with marketing, technical and commercial stakeholders
  • Using Google Analytics and Excel to an advanced level

 You will be able to:

  •  Translate data into actionable business insights and fully specified stories
  • Persuade, present and influence
  • Work collaboratively
  • Manage projects with a strong attention to detail
  • Work to tight deadlines, planning ahead of the critical path
