10am – 6pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and 9am – 5pm Saturday, Sunday

MyOptique Group [we operate online retail brands Glasses Direct & Sunglasses Shop] are looking for a professional, friendly team player to join our Contact Centre Team. Working within the team and reporting to one of our Customer Service Team Leaders, you will be responsible for giving our customers first-class service and support over the phone and by E-mail, social media and livechat.

This role offers the opportunity to develop your customer service, problem solving and sales support skills. We offer personal development opportunities and will provide training in our systems and glasses/optical knowledge.

Working together as part of the MyOptique team you will be integral to supporting our mission to improve lives by improving sight – through making eyewear more accessible online.

 What you will be doing:

  • Delivering first class, personalised but business-like customer service through the full range of communication channels, including telephone, E-mail, social media and live chat
  • Working collaboratively to resolve customer issues with Contact Centre team members and colleagues from other departments within MyOptique
  • Identifying customer queries or complaints that need to be escalated, and ensuring that they are professionally handed over to a Team Leader
  • Identifying and achieving additional sales of products relevant to each individual customer
  • Ensuring that all customer and order details are accurately recorded in the relevant system
  • Becoming a confident user of MyOptique’s systems
  • Consistently delivering against qualitative and quantitative KPIs 
  • Preparing for and contributing to 1-1’s, performance reviews and coaching sessions
  • Taking responsibility for self-development; flag knowledge gaps to your Team Leader and use available learning opportunities to develop yourself and your career
  • Demonstrating WIRED for Service values in all interactions with colleagues and customers
  • Being flexible and willing to help other teams as and when required

Knowledge & Skills Required:

You will have a minimum of 2 years’ work experience and will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Effective communication skills and good listening skills
  • The ability to think independently
  • A desire to learn and grow
  • Ability to prioritise and adhere to deadlines
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Detail oriented and organised
  • Proactive!
